Özet
Throughout history, travel has consistently been driven by various motivations, each yielding significant discoveries through the development of cross-cultural contacts, encounters, and experiences. Among these motivations, one notable impetus for travel is the pursuit of musical experiences. Delving into the musical dimension of travel is crucial for comprehending contemporary phenomena such as music festivals, music museums, live music venues-now emblematic features of urban landscapes-and concert halls hosting diverse global music genres. These musical journeys are categorized under various labels, including cultural tourism, leisure tourism, and music tourism. During these excursions, certain destinations acquire a sacred significance, evolving into sites of ritualistic pilgrimage while simultaneously serving as arenas for cultural consumption. This process of ritualization and acculturation is commonly referred to as musical pilgrimage within the domain of musicology studies. This paper investigates the Notalt Rotalar music -centered tour packages offered by the company Fest Travel through a multidisciplinary conceptual framework. Music -motivated travel is elucidated through the lenses of ritualization, acculturation, and musical pilgrimage. In conclusion, the significance of tourism practices within the realm of musicology is underscored, highlighting the pivotal role that such endeavors play in shaping our understanding of musical cultures and experiences.
