dc.description.abstractIn this study, the oriented area of a region swept by a line segment under 1-parameter planar homothetic motions and the volume of the region traced by a fixed rectangle under 1-parameter spatial homothetic motions are studied. Furthermore, the polar moment of inertia of a planar region swept by a line segment under Frenet motion is given.
