Özet
Tasavvufhâl ilmidir. Bu nedenle tasavvuf, her seyden önce yasanan hayatin tecrübîsahasinda asil anlamini bulur. Bununla birlikte, bir ilim olma sürecinde, butecrübî saha da kavramsal düzeyde karsiligini bulmaya baslamistir. Dolayisiylabu kavramlar, sûfînin yasam ve düsünce kriterlerine göre bir anlam derinligi dekazanmistir. Bu sayede tasavvuf, kendine has bir dile ve kavramsal zeminekavusmustur. Öyle ki bu kavramlar yalniz sûfîlerin anlayacaklari bir yapikazanmis, sûfî olmayanlara da daima meçhul kalacak özel anlamlarla donanmistir.Fakat her bir kavramin hususi bir anlam kazanmasi da uzun bir sürecinsonucudur. Zühd Dönemi’nden itibaren, yaklasik dört yüz yillik süreç, birkavramin geçirdigi anlamsal asamalari göstermesi açisindan özellikle önem arzeder. Bu asamalar, bizim görüsümüze göre somuttan soyuta dogru bir yol takipetmistir. Makalede, zühd örnegi üzerinden, bu anlamsal dönüsüm takip edilmeyeçalisilacaktir. Kavramlarin anlamsal dönüsümlerini takip etmek, tasavvuftarihinin dönemsel farklarini, sûfî karakterinin ruhsal gelisim sürecini vetasavvufun teorik düzeydeki açiliminin sebeplerini daha iyi analiz edebilmekaçisindan önem arz etmektedir.
Sufismis a situation science. For this reason, before anything else, sufism finds itstrue meaning in the experiential area of life. However, in the process of becominga science of theology, this experiential field has also begun to find its counterpart at the conceptual level. Becauseof that, these concepts have gained a depth of meaning according to sufi's lifeand thought criteria. In this way, sufism has reached its own language andconceptual ground. Such that, theseconcepts have gained a structure that only the sufis can understand; and theyhave been equipped with special meanings that remain unknown for the non-sufialways. But it is the result of a long period that each concept acquires aspecific meaning. From the beginning period on Zühd, the process of about fourhundred years are particular importance in point of showing the semantic stagesof a concept. These stages, according to our opinion, have followed a coursethat proceeded from concrete to abstract. In the article, this semantictransformation will be tried to be followed up on the zuhd example. To followthe semantic transformations of concepts is important in terms of betteranalyzing the periodic differences of the sufism history, the spiritualdevelopment process of the sufi character, and the reasons for the expansion ofsufism to the theoretical level.
