Aim: The research was carried out in order to observe the relationship between the perceptions of the service drawings regarding the administrative controls of the monitoring levels and the relationship between job satisfaction. Method: This research, which was planned in a descriptive and correlational design, was carried out in inpatient treatment units of all nurses working in a province in the Black Sea region (N=717) and the sample was composed of nurses who were convenience sampling method (n=273). "Information Form" and "Minesota Job Satisfaction Scale" were used as data collection tools. Data were collected between October and June 2017 by distributing and returning questionnaires to nurses. Results: The nurses' job satisfaction scale mean score was 2.93 (SD=0.69). The mean score of perception regarding the managerial competence levels of the managers of the nurses is 7.23 (SD=0.22). It was determined that there was an inverse, weak and statistically significant relationship (r=-0.12; p<0.05) between the nurses' job satisfaction average score and their managers' perceptions of managerial competence. Conclusion: It was concluded that the nurses found the nurses in charge of the service they work with to be managerial enough, but their job satisfaction levels were low. © 2023 The Authors.
