dc.description.abstractHerein, we introduce a simple approach for the fabrication of plasmonic nanoparticle-containing multilayer films using a bio-inspired polydopamine coating. This fabrication methodology represents a promising new development in the future application of plasmonic films in sensing and catalysis applications.
