Okul Öncesi Ögretmenlerinin Aile Egitimi ve Katilimi Çalismalarinin Özel Alan Yeterlilikleri Kapsaminda Degerlendirilmesi

Özet
Ögretmenlik meslegi her ögretmenin sahip olmasi gereken genel yeterlilikler ile özel alan yeterlilikleri gerektiren bir meslektir ve bu yeterlilikler hizmet öncesi egitim ve hizmet içi egitimler ile gelistirilir ve desteklenir. Okul öncesi egitimi ögretmenlerinin özel alan yeterlilikleri MEB Ögretmen Yetistirme ve Gelistirme Genel Müdürlügü tarafindan yedi ana baslik altinda belirlenmistir. Okul öncesi ögretmenlerinin özel alan yeterliliklerinden biri “Ailelerle iletisim, Aile Katilimi ve Aile Egitimi” dir. Bu yeterlik alani; ailelerle iletisim kurabilme, aile katilimini saglayabilme ve aile egitim etkinliklerini yürütebilme uygulamalarini kapsamaktadir. Bu çalismanin amaci okul öncesi egitim ögretmenlerinin aile egitimi ve katilimi çalismalarinin özel alan yeterlilikleri kapsaminda incelenmesidir. 2021-2022 egitim ögretim yilinda gerçeklestirilen çalismada, nitel arastirma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin çalisma gurubu amaçli örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmis olup resmi anasinifi ve anaokullarinda görev yapan okul öncesi ögretmenleri arasinda çalismaya gönüllü olarak katilim saglayan 40 katilimcidan olusmustur. Verilerin toplanmasinda yari yapilandirilmis görüsme teknigi kullanilmistir. Görüsmeler sonucu elde edilen verilerin analizi içerik analizi teknigi ile yapilmistir. Arastirmanin sonucunda ögretmenlerin çogunlugunun aile egitimi ve aile katilimina iliskin egitim aldiklari görülmüstür. Ayrica ögretmenlerin aile egitimi ve katilimi çalismalarini daha çok çocuklarin gelisimini desteklemek için aileyi yönlendirme olarak degerlendirdikleri belirlenmistir. Diger yandan okullarda aile egitimlerinin rehber ögretmenler tarafindan yapildigi, aile katilimlarin daha çok sinif içi egitim etkinliklerine katilim olarak tasarlandigi, ailelerle iletisimin büyük çogunlukla WhatsApp uygulamasi üzerinden gerçeklestigi görülmüstür
The teaching profession is a profession that requires general competencies and special field competencies that every teacher should have, and these competencies are developed and supported by pre-service training and in-service trainings. The special field qualifications of preschool education teachers have been determined under seven main headings by the General Directorate of Teacher Education and Development of the Ministry of Education. One of the special field competencies of preschool teachers is “Communication with Families, Family Participation and Family Education”. This competence area covers the practices of being able to communicate with families, ensuring family participation and conducting family educational activities. The aim of this study is to examine the family education and participation studies of preschool education teachers within the scope of their special field competencies. In the study carried out in the 2021-2022 academic year, phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study group was determined by the purposive sampling method and consisted of 40 participants who voluntarily participated in the study among preschool teachers working in official preschool and kindergartens. Semi-structured interview technique was used in data collection. The analysis of the data obtained as a result of the interviews was carried out with the content analysis technique. As a result of the research, it was found that the majority of teachers received training on family education and family participation. In addition, it was determined that teachers evaluate family education and participation activities more as family orientation to support children's development. On the other hand, it was seen that family education in schools is conducted by guidance counselors, family participation is mostly designed as participation in classroom educational activities, communication with families mostly takes place via WhatsApp application.
