Öğe AN EXAMINATION OF NUTRITION, EXERCISE, AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS SPORT IN FEMALE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS(Univ Quindio, 2023) Imamoglu, MehmetThis study has four interrelated main objectives. First, to examine the distribution of the variables of nutrient content, water consumption, exercise goal, and exercise outcome expectation period. Second, to compare water consumption levels for each of the nutrient content and exercise goal variables. Third, to determine students' attitudes towards sports. Fourth, to evaluate the potential impact of the variables of nutrient content, exercise goal, expectation time after exercise, and level of water consumption on attitudes towards sports. 225 female university students participated voluntarily. Personal information form and attitudes scale towards sport were used as data collection tools. As a result, nutrient content, water consumption, exercise goal, and exercise outcome expectation period were examined separately within themselves, there was a statistically significant difference (p<.001). The relationship between nutrient content (p<.05) and exercise goal (p<.001) variables with the amount of water consumption was statistically significant. Students have high scores in attitudes towards sport scale. Excessive carbohydrate consumption should be avoided, and information should be given that <1 L/day water consumption is unhealthy.Öğe An Investigation of Secondary School Students' Motivation and Addiction towards Digital Gaming by Age, Gender and Number of Siblings(Seyit Ahmet KIRAY, 2024) Kablan, Mehmet Oktay; Imamoglu, MehmetThe aim of this study was to examine the effects of gender, the number of siblings, and grade level on digital game playing motivation and addiction levels in secondary school students and to reveal the relationship between digital game motivation and addiction. A total of 394 students, 168 boys and 226 girls, participated in the study voluntarily. Personal Information Form, Digital Game Playing Motivation Scale, and Digital Play Addiction Scale for Children were used as data collection tools. Digital game playing situation (yes/no) was associated with gender and number of siblings (p< .05) but not with grade level (p> .05). The motivation and addiction levels for playing digital games are related to gender and grade level (p< .05) but not to the number of siblings (p> .05). There is a positive relationship between motivation and addiction to playing digital games (p< .05). In light of these findings, more effort should be made to prevent digital addiction in males according to gender and in 8th graders according to grade level.Öğe ORYANTIRING SPORUNUN ORTAÖGRETIM COGRAFYA VE BEDEN EGITIMI VE SPOR DERSLERININ KAZANIMLARINA ETKISI(Asos Egitim Bilisim Danismanlik San. Bu çalismada orta ögretim Cografya ile Beden Egitimi ve Spor derslerinin güncellenen ögretim programlari incelenerek kazanimlara ulasmada oryantiring sporunun etkisi arastirilmistir. Milli egitim müfredat programindaki kazanimlar ile oryantiring arasindaki etkilesim incelenmis ve bazi kazanimlarin dogrudan bazi kazanimlarin ise dolayli olarak oryantiring ile iliskili oldugu görülmüstür. Cografya ile beden egitimi ve spor derslerinin Ocak 2018 de güncellenen ortaögretim ögretim programlarinin incelenmesi sonucunda ögrencilerin kazanimlara ulasmasi noktasinda oryantiring sporunun ders içi etkinliklerde tercih edilmesinin faydali olacagi düsünülmektedir. Oryantiring sporunun cografya ve beden egitimi ve spor derslerinin becerilerini gelistirdigi belirtilmistir. Web of Science Veritabani kapsamindaki 1975-2018 yillarina ait dergiler ("beden egitimi" veya "fiziksel aktivite" veya "spor$") ve ("artirilmis gerçeklik") anahtar kelimeleri kullanilarak tarandi. Tarama sonrasinda 44 makaleye ulasildi. Artirilmis gerçeklik uygulamalari veya spor bilimleri ile ilgili olmadiklari tespit edilen 11 makale arastirma disi birakildi. Yayin siniflandirma formu "Yil, Yazar Sayisi, Ülke, Dergi, Yas, Örneklem, Degiskenler, Örnekleme Yöntemi, Arastirma Yöntemi, Veri Toplama Yöntemi ve Veri Analiz Yöntemi." basliklarini içermektedir. Spor bilimleri ile artirilmis gerçeklik teknolojisinin birlikte kullanildigi ve etkilesimli oldugu çalisma sayisi sinirlidir. Spor bilimleri alaninda artirilmis gerçeklik ve benzeri teknolojilerin kullaniminin yayginlasmasiyla birlikte, saglik ve egitim gibi alanlarin olumlu yönde etkilenecegi düsünülmektedir.Öğe The Effect of Interactive Videos on Volleyball Education(Mehmet Akif OCAK, 2023) Taban, Zeynep; Imamoglu, MehmetThis study aimed to examine the effect of interactive videos on volleyball education, and the effects of gender and grade level on volleyball knowledge level were evaluated. A total of 105 (43 boys and 62 girls) fifth and sixth-grade students participated in the study. Participants were divided into three groups: Interactive Video Group (IVG), Video Group (VG), and Control Group (CG). The volleyball education program consisting of seven videos for two weeks was applied to the experimental groups. Interactive videos include single or multiple-choice questions, true-false statements, and drag and drop activities. ADDIE Model was used in instructional design.
