Öğe Amatör Futbolcularin Yaralanma Kaygi Düzeylerinin Incelenmesi(Akan BAYRAKDAR, 2024) Algan, Yücel; Arslanoglu, CanselBu çalismanin amaci amatör futbolcularin spor yaralanmasi kaygi düzeylerini çesitli degiskenlere göre incelemektir. Arastirma örneklemini Hatay ilindeki 306 Amatör Futbolcu olusturmaktadir. Veri toplama araci olarak “Spor Yaralanmasi Kaygi Ölçegi” ile “Kisisel Bilgi Formu” kullanilmis ve veriler anket yoluyla toplanmistir. Arastirmada elde edilen bulgular degerlendirildiginde, futbolcularin yas, cinsiyet, aktif futbol oynama süresi degiskenleri bakimindan yaralanma kaygisi alt boyutlari arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Egitim durumu degiskeni bakimindan “Yeniden Yaralanma Kaygisi” alt boyutunda lisans ve lise mezunu futbolcularin, ilkögretim mezunlarina göre kaygi düzeylerinin daha yüksek oldugu ve daha önce yaralanma yasama durumu bakimindan “Yeniden Yaralanma Kaygisi” alt boyutunda yaralanma yasayan futbolcularin yüksek seviyede kaygi yasadiklari tespit edilmistir. Yaralanmanin meydana geldigi ortam degiskeninde, antrenman ve müsabakada yaralanan futbolcularin “Yeniden Yaralanma Kaygi” düzeylerinin yüksek oldugu, rakip oyuncunun temasiyla yaralanan futbolcularin “Zayif Algilama Kaygisi” ve “Yeniden Yaralanma Kaygisi” alt boyutunda kaygi düzeyleri yüksek oldugu, yaralanma nedenli ameliyat olan futbolcularin “Yetenegini Kaybetme Kaygisi” ve “Yeniden Yaralanma Kaygisi” alt boyutlari ile ölçek boyutunda yüksek seviyede kaygi yasadiklari görülmüstür. Yaralanmanin en fazla gerçeklestigi vücut bölgesi bakimindan “Ayak-Diz-Bacak” bölgesinde “Yeniden yaralanma kaygisi” alt boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamli bir fark bulunmustur. Sonuç olarak, lise ve lisans egitimi alan, yaralanma yasamis, antrenman ve müsabakada yaralanan, rakip oyuncu temasi sonucu yaralanan, ameliyat olan, yaralanmayi alt ekstremite bölgesinde sik yasayan futbolcularin yüksek seviyede kaygi yasadiklari görülmüstür.Öğe An Effective Method of Aerobic Capacity Development: Combined Training with Maximal Aerobic Speed and Small-Sided Games for Amateur Football Players(Mdpi, 2024) Arslanoglu, Cansel; Celgin, Gurkan Selim; Arslanoglu, Erkal; Demirci, Nevzat; Karakas, Fatih; Dogan, Erol; Cakaloglu, ErdemThis study aimed to investigate the effects of combined training with maximal aerobic speed and small-sided games on football players' aerobic capacity development. Methods: The football players were divided into three groups as a combined training group (n = 20) (Mean +/- SD age 23.40 +/- 2.92 yrs, BMI was 23.67 +/- 1.59 kg/m(2), mass: 74.80 +/- 5.46 kg, height: 177.73 +/- 4.31 cm), maximal aerobic speed group (n = 20) (Mean +/- SD age 23.93 +/- 2.46 yrs, BMI was 23.32 +/- 1.42 kg/m(2), mass: 72.66 +/- 5.38 kg, height: 176.46 +/- 4.99 cm) and regular training group (n = 20) (Mean +/- SD age 24.80 +/- 5.84 yrs, BMI was 22.87 +/- 1.67 kg/m(2), mass: 73.06 +/- 6.74 kg, height: 178.33 +/- 7.98 cm). In addition to regular football training, maximal aerobic speed training with small-sided games was applied to the combined training group (CT) and only maximal aerobic speed training was applied to the maximal aerobic speed group (MAS) twice a week for 12 weeks. The normal training group (NT) continued their routine football training programme. All participants applied the Yo-Yo IR1 test in the pre-test and post-test of the study. As a result of normality tests, it was determined that the data showed normal distribution, and the ANOVA test and Tukey's multiple comparison test were used in the intergroup evaluation. Results: When the Yo-Yo IR1 Test pre-test and post-test results were analysed, maximal aerobic speed training with small-sided games (CT) and maximal aerobic speed (MAS) groups were significantly higher compared to the normal training (NT) group regarding training load, running distance, and VO2max value among the football players (p = 0.001). There was no difference in the normal training group (p > 0.05). As a result, it was determined that combined training with maximal aerobic speed, small-sided games, and only maximal aerobic speed effectively improved football players' aerobic capacity and general performance.Öğe An Investigation of Nutritional Habits of Sport High School Students (Sample of Sinop Province)(Gaziantep Üniversitesi, 2018) Mor, Ahmet; Ipekoglu, Gökhan; Arslanoglu, CanselThe aim of this study was to examine the levelof the nutritional habits of the sport high school students. The researchconsisted of 98 students (male n=65. female=33) from Sinop Sehit Bülent SportHigh School. A questionnaire that developed by researchers were applied toevaluate the nutritional habits of students. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient wasused to measure the reliability of the questionnaire. As a result of thereliability analysis, the Cronbach Alpha coefficient was found to be 0.79. As aresult, it is seen that the knowledge and attitudes towards nutrition and mealsare inadequate. Although the sports high school students emphasize therelationship between sport and nutrition at a rate of 87.8%. Besides, 62.2% ofthe students think that there is not enough information about nutrition in theschool curriculum. So, in addition to the revision of curriculum in sport highschools, educational conferences and scientific activities must be organizedrelated to healthy living and sport nutrition.Öğe Empathic tendencies of pre-service physical education and sports teachers(Eurasian Society of Educational Research, 2018) Arslanoglu, Cansel; Mor, AhmetThe aim of this study is to investigate the empathic tendency levels of physical education teacher candidates according to some variables. Study group consists of 117 pre service physical education and sports students (74 women and 43 men) of Kafkas University in the fall semester of 2015/2016 academic year. “Personal Information Form” and the "Empathic Tendency Scale" which developed by Dokmen was used to collect data. In the evaluation of data, firstly, normality hypothesis and Shapiro Wilk and Levene tests for homogeneity of variances have been used. In paired comparisons, independent samples t-test and in comparison of more than one group, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey multiple comparison test have been used. SPSS 21 statistical package program was used and the results were considered significant at p <0.05 level. As a result of the study, it can be said that gender, age, class, place of education, parent education level and family monthly income variables did not affect the empathic tendency levels of the physical education teacher candidates. © 2018 Eurasian Society of Educational Research. All rights reserved.Öğe FUTBOLCULARDA BCAA VE KREATIN ALIMININ VÜCUT KOMPOZISYONU ÜZERINE ETKISI(Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, 2019) Mor, Ahmet; Ipekoglu, Gökhan; Baynaz, Kadir; Arslanoglu, Cansel; Acar, Kürsat; Arslanoglu, ErkalBu çalismada, futbolcularda dalli zincirli amino asitler (BCAA) ve kreatin (KR) suplementasyonunun vücut kompozisyonu üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmistir. Bu çalismaya, yaslari 18-26 arasinda olan, antrenmanli 24 gönüllü erkek futbolcu katilmistir. Futbolcular deney; BCAA (n=8) – KR (n=8) ve plasebo; (PLA) (n=8) gruplari olmak üzere rastgele üç gruba ayrilmistir. Deney gruplarina arastirmaci gözetiminde günlük kullanim sekli ve dozaji uygun olarak 7 gün boyunca 5000 mg BCAA ve 2000 mg kreatin suplemantasyonu yapilmistir. Arastirmada, plasebo grubuna ise verilen besin destegine esit miktarda ve sekilde bugday kepegi verilmistir. Çalisma tek kör uygulama olarak yapilmistir. Analizler ön test-son test yöntemi kullanilarak deneklerin günlük yasanti, beslenme ve antrenman programlari bozulmadan 7 gün ara ile esit fiziki sartlarda yapilmistir. Vücut agirligi ve iskelet kasi agirligi verilerine bakildiginda üç grupta da istatistiksel olarak anlamli farklilik bulunamamistir (p>0,05). Vücut yag kütlesi ve yüzdesi degerlerinde hiçbir grupta anlamli farklilik yoktur (p>0,05). Toplam vücut suyu, beden kitle indeksi (BKI) ve metabolizma hizi parametreleri incelendiginde gruplarda istatistiksel anlamlilik tespit edilmemistir (p>0,05). Protein ve mineral seviyelerinde istatistiksel fark mevcut degildir (p>0,05). Tüm verilerin gruplararasi karsilastirmalarina bakildiginda istatistiksel olarak anlamli bir farklilik bulunamamistir (p>0,05). Futbolcularda beslenme stratejilerine bagli olarak besin takviyesi kullanimi incelenmistir. Bu dogrultuda, BCAA ve kreatin tüketiminin; sporcu sagligi ile birlikte üst düzey sportif performans gösterebilmenin olmazsa olmazlardan biri olan ideal bir vücut kompozisyonu üzerine etkisine rastlanilmamistir. Digital games provide a platform for players to showcase their skills, thereby forming the foundation of e-sports. These two domains continuously support each other, demonstrating significant growth in popularity and establishing a solid presence in the competitive landscape. Digital games require high levels of attention, strategy, reflexes, and coordination, offering pathways to reach the pinnacle of competition. The benefits derived from digital games enhance the ability to perform effectively under stress, making them crucial for both physical and mental performance. This study investigates the effects of digital gaming on the physical performance, shoulder flexibility, muscle strength and reaction speed of female volleyball players. A total of 50 female volleyball players took part, who were divided into two groups based on their digital playing habits: Group 1 consisted of female players who played video games for at least 4 h per day in the last 6 months, while Group 2 included those who played <4 h per day. In the study, the Activ5 (c) Handheld Digital Dynamometer was used to measure the strength of the shoulder muscles during various movements, including flexion, hyperextension, abduction, internal rotation and external rotation. In addition, the BlazePod (TM) trainer device was used to assess reaction times. The results showed that volleyball players who frequently played digitally showed significant improvements in shoulder flexibility, especially in flexion of the non-dominant side. In addition, these players showed faster reaction times than those who played less frequently. However, a significant decrease in hyperextension muscle strength was observed in the group that frequently played digital games. The study highlights that while digital games can improve certain physical skills such as reaction speed and shoulder flexibility, they can also contribute to muscular imbalances or a decrease in muscle strength in certain areas. These findings suggest potential benefits for volleyball players, particularly in movements that require quick reflexes and flexibility, such as serving and spiking. However, the results also raise concerns about potential negative effects on muscle strength and posture, highlighting the need for balanced training programs to mitigate these effects. Further research is needed to investigate the long-term effects of digital games on athletic performance and physical health.Öğe Prosocial and antisocial behaviors in Turkish female and male football players(Imr Press, 2022) Acar, Kursat; Mor, Hakki; KarakaS, Fatih; Yilmaz, Ali Kerim; Arslanoglu, Cansel; Mor, AhmetBackground and objective: Women have increasingly taken more part in a rather male-dominated sport in recent years: football, so our study's main focus is exploring the acts and behaviors of the female athletes during a football match. The study analyzes the sex-related differences in prosocial and antisocial behaviors between male and female athletes. Materials and methods: A total of 837 players, recruited from various leagues in Turkey, participated in the study. Participants were active female (n = 432) and male (n = 405) football players. The informed consent form and Prosocial and Antisocial Behavior in Sport Scale (PABSS) were utilized as data collection tools. Results: Female football players displayed less prosocial and more antisocial behaviors compared to male football players. Among all the league statuses, both female and male players exhibited the highest prosocial and the lowest antisocial behaviors in the top league status. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences concerning the age variable (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Our study findings indicate that male football players engaged in more prosocial behaviors toward both their teammates and opponents than female football players; moreover, male players engaged in less antisocial behaviors in general. Players reported higher prosocial and lower antisocial behavior scores as league status increased. Lastly, higher prosocial behavior scores were obtained with increasing age.Öğe The acute effects of combined supplementation of beta-alanine, carbohydrate and whey protein on biochemical parameters of athletes after exhaustive exercise(Mattioli 1885, 2018) Mor, Ahmet; Ipekoglu, Gokhan; Arslanoglu, Erkal; Arslanoglu, Cansel; Acar, KursatBackground: The beneficial effect of popular supplements and use of combined supplementation in athletes which purpose to increase sports performance. Objective: This study aimed to review biochemical responses that the athletes gave to combined supplementation received after exercise and some changes in hematological values. Material and Method: 16 volunteers, in shape, male athletes with ages between 18-25 participated into the study. Athletes were divided into two groups as experiment (supplement) (n=8) and control (placebo) (n=8). After the exercise made until exhaustion (shuttle run test), beta-alanine/vitargo(carbohydrate-electrolyte)/whey protein supplement was given to the experimental group while the control group received placebo (water). Blood was taken from the athletes three times as basal, post-exercise (PE) and 2 hours after ingestion supplement (PS); Urea, Creatinine, Cholesterol, Triglyceride, High Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL), Gamma Glutamyl Transferase (GGT) and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) values have been analyzed. Results: Statistically significant differences in many biochemical parameters were found when comparisons of in-group basal, PE and PS time courses of supplement and control groups were reviewed (p<0.05). When inter-group comparison of triglyceride and cholesterol levels were reviewed, a significant difference was seen in basal levels (p<0.05) no difference was detected in values other than that (p>0.05). Conclusions: It is possible to say that acute combined supplementation used after exercise does not create a negative effect on biochemical parameters of athletes, on the contrary when the research result data were compared with control group, by looking at the basal, exercise and after supplementation values such as creatinine, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL, the combined supplement intake showed positive results in terms of health.Öğe The Effect of Velocity-Based Training on Some Performance Parameters in Football Players(NDP Academic Publishing, 2024) Arslanoglu, Erkal; Arslanoglu, Cansel; Çelgin, Gürkan Selim; Bayram, Metin; Mor, AhmetThe aim of the study was to investigate the effects of velocity-based (VBT) and traditional strength training (TST) methods on vertical jump, dynamic balance, agility, 10 m acceleration and 20 m sprint performances. Twelve volunteer men randomly divided into two groups participated in the study. After 1 Repetition Maximum (1RM) was determined, the TST group performed 3 sets of 10 repetitions with 40-60% of their maximum weight, while the VBT group performed 3 sets of strength training at a velocity range of 0.75-1.0 m/s for 6 weeks, 2 days a week. In the VBT group, a significant difference was found between 55.16±6.17 cm in the pre-test and 59.16±4.99 cm in the post-test of vertical jump and 4.05±0.27 in the pre-test and 1.72±0.27 in the post-test of balance (p<0.05). There was a significant difference between 48.33±3.98 cm in the pre-test and 53.66±4.03 cm in the post-test; between 4.29±0.29 in the pre-test and 3.65±0.48 in the post-test. Optimising the speed while lifting load in VBT enables athletes to react faster to sudden position changes by improving dynamic balance. Although 6 weeks of VBT training increased vertical jump, the difference was not statistically significant, which may be due to sample size, training duration or individual differences. As a result, the increase in vertical jump and balance in both strength training exercises can be explained by the fact that squat exercise activates the quadriceps muscles by activating the knee joint and increases leg strength, endurance and knee stabilisation.Öğe The Effects of Electrostimulation and Core Exercises on Recovery After High-Intensity Exercise(Int Journal Applied Exercise Physiology, 2017) Mor, Ahmet; Ipekoglu, Gokhan; Arslanoglu, Cansel; Acar, Kursat; Arslanoglu, ErkalIntroduction and objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of electrostimulation and core exercises on recovery after high-intensity exercise. Methods: The participants of this study consists of 12 male bodybuilders who regularly train and between the ages 18-30. Tabata high intensity interval training (HIIT) was applied with different recovery methods to the athletes on three different days and the recovery levels of athletes were analyzed. Heart rate and blood lactate levels were measured at baseline (PRE) at immediately after the HIIT (POST), at the 1 minutes after HIIT (1min), at the 5 minutes after HIIT (5min), and at the 10 minutes after HIIT (10min). On the rest days, serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and serum creatine kinase (CK) measurements were done to determine the muscle damage. Results: The in-group comparisons for lactate levels showed no significant difference (p>0,01). The level of lactate on the 10min was found to be significantly lower than the 5min in the core exercise group (p<0,01). Similarly in the electrostimulation group, 10m lactate levels are significantly lower than 5min (p<0,01). There were no statistically significant differences in the heart rate measurements (p<0,01). The results showed no statistically significant difference between the groups although the averages of LDH and CK showed variations (p>0,01). These results show that the lactate level reaches to the maximum level after HIIT, and the level of lactate decreases between the 5th and the 10th minutes. Discussion and conclusion: These indicate that the active recovery methods are more effective than the passive. It was found that the active recovery methods accelerate the lactate removal from the metabolism and provide effective recovery in short time during the recovery period after exercise.Öğe THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEG STRENGHT AND AEROBIC ANAEROBIC CAPACITY ON FOOTBALL PLAYERS(Atatürk Üniversitesi, 2018) Arslanoglu, Cansel; Baynaz, Kadir; Acar, Kürsat; Mor, Ahmet; Ipekoglu, Gökhan; Arslanoglu, ErkanIn the fieldof sport sciences, there are a lot of studies that describe the relationshipbetween aerobic-anaerobic capacity and leg strength. Beside the basic motoricfeatures that affect performance in the football branch, aerobic and anaerobiccapacity are also an important factor. The aim of this study is to examine therelationship between leg strength and aerobic-anaerobic capacity of footballplayers. 44 football player participated to this study in Sinop ProvinceFootball Teams. The subjects’ age, height, body weight and training year were18.75 ± 0,25 years, 174.16 ± 1,55 cm, 69.28 ± 0,82 kg, and 7.61 ± 0,33 years respectively. Takeiisometric leg dynamometer was used to measure leg strength of subjects, 20 mshuttle run test was used for aerobic capacity and RAST (Running-BasedAnaerobic Sprint Test) were applied for anaerobic capacity and fatigue index.First, it was determined with Shapiro Wilk and Levene test whether the datashowed a normal distribution or not. Spearman’s correloations were used toexplore associations between The averageleg strength, aerobic capacity andanaerobic fatique index of sublects were found 134,886±15,92 kg, 50,07 ± 5,84 ml/kg/min and 9,07 ± 2,72 w/srespectively. As a result of the analyze, there was no correlation between legstrength-aerobic capacity and leg strength-anaerobic capacity in footballpalyers p>0.05. There are no relationship leg strength and aerobic-anaerobiccapacity. It is recommended that, the future studies be considered withdifferent athlete profiles and trainingperiods.Öğe Üniversite Ögrencilerinin Egzersiz Yapma Durumuna Göre Yasam Kalitelerinin Incelenmesi(Erzincan Binali Yildirim Üniversitesi, 2021) Arslanoglu, Cansel; Acar, Kürsat; Mor, Ahmet; Baynaz, Kadir; Karakas, Fatih; Ipekoglu, Gökhan; Arslanoglu, ErkalBu çalismanin amaci; üniversite ögrencilerinin egzersiz yapma durumlarina göre yasam kalitelerinin incelenmesidir. Arastirmanin örneklemini, Sinop Üniversitesi’nin farkli fakülte ve yüksekokullarinda ögrenim gören toplam 10646 ögrenciden 2923’ü (1648 kadin, 1275 erkek) olusturmaktadir. Her fakülte ve yüksekokulu temsil edecek sekilde basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle örneklem seçilmis ve anketler 2017-2018 bahar döneminde uygulanmistir. Veri toplama araci olarak, kisisel bilgi formu ile Yasam Kalitesi Ölçegi (WHOQOL-BRIEF) kullanilmistir. Verilerin normal dagilim gösterdigi belirlenerek, Independent-samples t-test ile analiz edilmistir. Tüm istatistiksel hesaplamalarda SPSS 21.0 V paket program kullanilmis ve p<0,05 anlamli kabul edilmistir. Arastirmada üniversite ögrencilerinin (n=711) %24,3’ünün düzenli olarak egzersiz yaptigi, (n=2212) %75,7’sinin ise düzenli olarak egzersiz yapmadiklari belirlenmistir. Yasam kalitesi ölçeginde ve alt boyutlarinda egzersiz yapanlar lehine anlamli farklilik tespit edilmistir (p<0,05). Cinsiyet degiskeni açisindan ise yasam kalitesi alt boyutlarindan “ruhsal alan” alt boyutunda erkek ögrenciler lehine farklilik belirlenmistir (p<0,05). Çalismamizda düzenli egzersiz yapmanin yasam kalitesi üzerinde etkisi incelenmis ve düzenli egzersiz yapan katilimcilarin yasam kaliteleri daha yüksek bulunmustur. Arastirmanin örneklemini, üniversitenin farkli Fakülte ve Yüksekokullarinda ögrenim gören 1648 kadin, 1275 erkek olmak üzere toplam 2923 ögrenci olusturmaktadir. Veri toplama araci olarak, Kisisel Bilgi Formu ve Dünya Saglik Örgütü Yasam Kalitesi Ölçegi (WHOQOLBRIEF) kullanilmistir. Verilerin analizinde tanimlayici istatistikler ve bagimsiz örneklem t-testi kullanilmistir. Çalismaya katilan üniversite ögrencilerinin yaklasik üçte birinin (%33,4); kadinlarin %25’inin ve erkeklerin %55,3’ünün sigara kullandigi tespit edilmistir. En fazla sigara kullanilan birimler Meslek Yüksekokulu (%51,1) ve Gerze Meslek Yüksekokulu (%47), en az sigara kullanilan birimler ise Ilahiyat Fakültesi (%15,2), Egitim Fakültesi (%25) ve Saglik Yüksekokulu’dur (%25). Sigara kullanan ögrencilerin “ruhsal alan” ve “çevresel-kültürel alan” alt boyut puanlari, kullanmayanlara göre daha düsüktür. Arastirma sonucunda üniversite ögrencilerinin sigara kullanma durumlarinin yasam kalitelerini önemli ölçüde farklilastirdigini dolayisiyla sigara kullanmayanlarin daha iyi yasam kalitesine sahip oldugunu söyleyebiliriz.
