Sonuç olarak modelin bir vaka örneği ile ele alınarak sunulduğu bu uyarlamayla; hasta daha kaliteli ve sürdürülebilir bir bakım alabilir ve daha rahat korunabilir; bakım verici daha etkin, daha güçlü ve daha bilinçli olabilir; hemşire de tüm rollerini daha uygun, daha rahat ve daha esnek yerine getirebilir.Öğe Autism and current approaches to nursing(HealthMed, 2012) Cabar, Huriye Demet; Özeren, Gül SultanIn social and communication areas due to identification of life-long difficulties, autism, according to the criteria proposed by the American Psychiatric Association in 1994, pervasive developmental disorders are discussed under the main title (1).As in every case, the starting point for a child with autism and his family from the moment of birth is the development stage of each child’s place and role of the nurse can not be ignored. The nurses, in every period of life, authenticating of health risks and making plans for improving health, enhance the development of personal growth and health of individuals and societies (2). For this reason, a child with autism and their families should be planned approaches to current nursing. Autism and pervasive developmental disorders are complex disorders (3). Navigating the deterioration in multiple fields and to deal with these disorders with certain forms could be difficult and misleading. Because generally other disorders may associated with autism (4, 5, 6). For this reason, a wide perspective of nursing approaches determining may have to be multi-dimensional planning. Nursing on the basis of assessment, the child’s communication, social, sensory, behavioral skills and the strategies for adaptation should succeed (7). For this reason, ın this study aimed to provide information on autism current nursing approaches.Öğe Autism Spectrum Disorder asd and Gazing Through The Evidence Window To Asd(Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar Üniversitesi, 2013) Özeren, Gül SultanObjective: Evidence based contemporary approaches targeting Autism Spectrum Disorders are reviewed in this task and unproven applications and some missing parts of the researches that may have evidence value are also included in this study.Material and Methods: The databases of Science Direct, EBSCO Host, Medscape, Pubmed, Medline and Cochrane Database between the months of February and September 2012 have been reviewed in terms of the articles which include the evidence-based applications and approaches for the ASD.Results: The randomized and semi-randomized controlled studies covering a total of approximately over two thousand individuals, approximately one hundred and fifty publications, thirteen of which along with having the characteristics of metaanalysis or systematic compilation, have been reviewed. While examining evidence-based practice and approaches for the ASD, in addition to selecting the topics, the aim is to present the results and the reviews in this layout. These topics were determined considering effectiveness of early period intensive behavioral therapies, music therapy, intensive and long-term applied behavior analysis, behavioral and developmental interventions, parent-mediated early intervention, gluten and kazein, acupuncture treatments, auditory integration therapy, vitamin B6 and magnesium, effectiveness of omega-3 fatty acids supplementation and use of serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Conclusion: “Evidence-based health applications” and “evidence-based medicine” fit into place effectively all around the world and into our country nowadays. The various evidence-based results that were taken into account here point to an “inadequate evidence level” and can set one thinking that the application is not only wrong or inadequate, but also it does not reach comprehensive and qualified researchÖğe Bir Grup Hemşirelik Öğrencisinde Anne-Baba Bağlanma Biçimlerinin Kişilerarası İlişkilere Etkisi(2019) Özeren, Gül Sultan; Akın, Semiha; Barlas, Gül ÜnsalAmaç: Bu çalışma hemşirelik öğrencilerinde anne-baba bağlanmabiçimlerinin kişilerarası ilişkilere etkisini incelemek, sonuçlar doğrultusunda öğrencilere bağlanma biçimlerine dair içgörü düzeylerini ve kişilerarası ilişkilerini geliştirmeye yönelik önerilerde bulunmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda hemşirelik eğitim müfredatında hemşirelikte kişilerarası ilişkiler, iletişim ve bağlanma algılarını geliştirmeye yönelik derslerin verilmesi, öğrencilere yönelikeğitimler ve rol-play gibi eğitsel faaliyetlerin planlanmasının yararlıolacağı öngörülmektedir.Öğe Discovery of Repetitive Incompatible Patterns in Young Individuals and Therapeutic Process Analysis of a Teenager within the Scope of Functioning Studies by Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP) Method(2019) Özeren, Gül Sultan; Sezgin, Betül; Özakkaş, TahirThe holistic approach is indispensable in every form of work that focuses on human. Human is a bio-psycho-socio-cultural entity. In addition to examining humans by separating them into basic fields such as body, soul and mind, the effort to understand them by separating them into periods of life such as childhood, youth and adulthood is an endless discovery. Youth is undoubtedly a very special period when it comes to the prospect of repairing the past and building the future safely, with a chance to live the moment. Young people are individuals who will make high gains in limited time when it comes to safety, health and welfare in the social field. Compliance is a key concept for these gains. However, young individuals with incompatible patterns, especially those with high levels of mental function and education, remain in society as individuals who are masked by fake selfimage, waiting to be understood. These individuals, who cannot express themselves adequately, have important issues such as self-confidence, sociability, academic success, social roles, individual performance, job and spouse selection, and expectations for the future. Here comes forth a consultative approach that is collaborative, active, supportive, focused, and time-efficient. Time-limited dynamic psychotherapy is an interpersonal and time-sensitive approach for individuals with chronic, pervasive and dysfunctional forms of communication against the other. It aims to change the way a person communicates with himself/herself and others. The focus is not on reducing symptoms, but rather on changing the deep-rooted patterns of interpersonal intimacy or the personality.Öğe Enuresis: regional primary boarding school in sinop, the northest point of Turkey(HealthMED, 2012) Cabar, Huriye Demet; Altay, Birsen; Özeren, Gül SultanIntroduction and Aim: Enuresis is a urine voiding impairment and it means repeated involuntary urine voiding. While enuresis more commonly occurs in children, it can also occur in adults. According to DSM IV, enuresis is repeated involuntary voiding of urine into bed or clothes. In the evaluation of the age groups of the children in the study, nocturnal enuresis frequency was 13.8% in the age group 5-8 while diurnal enuresis frequency was 10.8%, which were significantly higher than that of other age groups. Conclusion: As a result, nurses play a significant role in solving the enuresis problem which can affect the whole lives of children. It is important to assess both children and their families as a whole in this respect.Öğe Hatay Yöresinde Kene Kaynaklı Lyme Borelyozu Seroprevalansı(2012) Özeren, Gül Sultan; Kaya, Galip; Önlen, YusufAmaç: Kene tutunması vakalarına son yıllarda artan sıklıkla rastlanan Hatay yöresinde kene kaynaklı Lyme borelyozu varlığının saptanması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntemler: Kenelerin aktif olduğu Nisan-Ekim ayları arasında Hatay il merkezinde ve ilçelerinde yaşayan ve kene tutunması öyküsü olan 65 bireyden, kene temasının üzerinden en az 6 hafta geçmiş olması göz önünde bulundurularak alınan kan örneklerinde ELISA yöntemiyle Borrelia burgdorferi IgG ve IgM antikorları araştırılmıştır. Daha önce keneyle hiç karşılaşmamış olduğunu belirten 105 birey, kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Bulgular: IgM antikorları, kene tutunması öyküsü olan 65 bireyin 45 (%69.2)'inde pozitif ve 5 (%7.7)'inde negatifken, kene tutunması öyküsü olmayan 105 bireyin 1 (%0.95)'inde pozitif bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, kene tutunması olanlardan 15 (%23.1)'inin, olmayanlarınsa 70 (%66.7)'inin gri zonda oldukları saptanmıştır. Sonuçlar: Hatay yöresinde farklı sağlık birimlerine başvuran risk altındaki her birey için yapılacak tanısal testler aşamasında, Lyme hastalığının da düşünülmesi gerekmektedir. Kene tutunması öyküsü olan kişilerin akut/kronik Lyme hastalığı olgularına dönüşüp dönüşmedikleri izlenmeli ve Lyme hastalığının prevalans ve insidansının gerek ülkemizde gerekse bölgemizde kesin olarak belirlenmesini sağlayacak çalışmalar yapılmalıdır. Psychosocial approach is important for mental health workers, and holistic view is essential for psychosocial approach.Intersubjectivity is both experience-oriented and relational psychotherapy theory. It is a process theory attempting to conceptualize the organization of personal experience and the variability of it. The theory argues that there cannot be an ‘isolated mind’, and therefore interaction processes can only be interpreted in context. The aim of this study is to understand and explore some of the experiences of a group of psychiatric nursing students who are in the process of learning therapeutic interaction practices, in the field of intersubjectivity. The study employs the “convergent parallel mixed” pattern, one of the mixed research methods. Themixed method is a prominent approach, especially in areas that focus on human relations, with the ability to support the paradigm shift that has recently been experienced in the world of science. In this research, qualitative and quantitative data were collected together as needed. The data were analyzed separately and comparisons were made to determine whether the findings confirmed each other. This study was carried out with students who were taking Psychiatric Nursing course in the nursingschool of a state university in the fall semester of 2017-18. The quantitative study group consisted of 42 girls and 22 boys while the qualitative study group consisted of 11 girls and 6 boys. Quantitative data: Socio-demographic Data Form, Relationship Scales Survey, Non-functional Attitudes Scale. Semi-structured individual interviews. SPSS 20.0 package program for quantitative data analysis, and NVivo 10 Analysis Program forqualitative data analysis were used. The most common attachment type among the participants was found to be “dismissive avoidant”,and they were found to exhibit the most dysfunctional attitudes regarding independent attitudes. It has been determined that they are most interested in defense mechanisms in the field of therapeutic interaction learning. The most difficult moments during the application processes were when the patients talked about their losses of parents and children, and their traumatic memories of childhood. In the field of technical therapeutic application, they were found to have the most difficulty in therapeutic use of silence. Nearly all of the participants stated that they had experienced “a true holistic approach for the first time” in terms of approaching patients, and that they had experienced for the first time that ‘interaction by talking to a human being was healing’ in terms of interviewing patients. It can be interpreted that, in the experience of therapeutic interaction application, students’ learning motivations, self-knowledge levels, attachment styles and dysfunctional attitudes are cyclically activated. In the experience of therapeutic interaction application, it can be interpreted that students’ learning motivations, self-knowledge levels, attachment styles and dysfunctional attitudes are cyclically activated. It may be suggested that ‘self-recognition’ studies be repeated in practice throughout the whole process, continue even after starting professional life, and include teachers as well as students.Öğe Reflections of globalization and health informatics on medical ethics(Ondokuz Mayis Universitesi, 2013) Özeren, Gül Sultan; Cabar, Huriye DemetToday, all humanity is moving with increasing speed towards being a global information society by following and experiencing social, cultural, economical, scientific and technological advancements. Implementation of health informatics provides disposal of manpower, short hospitalization durations, time saving by its effect on work process, reduction in failures and abolition of unneccessary processes. It is accepted that health is a fundamental human right and humans possess equal rights to receive equal, attainable, cost-free and qualified health care to remain healthy, to improve their health, and to regain health when they fall ill. Today, common standards are required providing the opportunity to share health information in case of necessity, as well as audit and inspection systems to maintain information secrecy. It is compulsory for nurses who constitute a major group among health care providing groups to improve their global view of health everyday. Solutions should be produced being aware of health problems brought about by globalization. Education looms large to act an important role in the struggle for ethics, one of the essential components of global health issue and to achieve all these qualities. Thence, this article aims to enlighten the reflections of globalization and health informatics on health care ethics. © 2013 OMU.
