The study was performed between September 2015 and August 2016 with trammels nets having a different mesh sizes (32 mm, 36 mm and 40 mm), which are extensively used in Middle Black Sea coastal fisheries. Common sole (Solea solea L., 1758 and Pegusa lascaris R., 1840) are caught as by-catch in the area with trammel nets. The average length of the species caught in the study were 18.8±2.04 cm for S. solea and 14.8±1.55 cm for P. lascaris. The average weight of the S. solea and P. lascarais were 38.7±24,4 g and 29.7±12.39 g, respectively. The length-weight relationship of S. solea and P. lascarais caught with trammel nets on the shore of Middle Black Sea were calculated as W=0,0028L3,4226 (R2=0,9228, N=528) and W= 0,0049L3,2117 (R2= 0,913, N=558), respectively. The findings, which were presented for the first time for sole fish species in the Middle Black Sea, are expected to be a source for future studies.
