Ilkögretim Ögrencilerinin 2005 Öncesi ve Sonrasi Uygulanan Programlara Göre Aldiklari Fen ve Teknoloji Egitimine Yönelik Tutumu

Özet
Anket uygulanarak gerçeklestirilen bu betimsel arastirmada, 2006-2007 egitim ögretim yilinda ilkögretim 5. 6. 7. ve 8. sinif ögrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji dersine yönelik tutum düzeyi arastirilmistir. Arastirmanin amaci, ilkögretimde 2005 yili öncesi ve sonrasi programlara göre uygulanmakta olan fen ve teknoloji egitimine yönelik, ögrencilerin tutum düzeylerini farkli sinif seviyelerine göre ortaya koymaktir. Ocak-2007’de 205 ögrenci ile gerçeklestirilen bu çalismada, 5. ve 6. siniflar yapilandirmaci ögrenmeyi merkeze alan programa göre ögrenim görürlerken, 7. ve 8. sinif ögrencileri 2005 yili öncesinde yürürlükte olan fen programi ile ögrenim görmüslerdir. Veriler degerlendirildiginde iki grup arasinda, tutum düzeyleri bakimindan genel olarak anlamli bir fark olmadigi tespit edilmistir. 2005 programina göre ögrenim gören ögrencilerin eski programin uygulandigi gruba göre dersi sevme yönünden anlamli bir fark gösterdigi sonucuna ulasilmistir. Olumsuz tutum ortalamalari bakimindan gruplar arasinda benzer bir dagilimin oldugu görülmüstür. Bu durum ögretmenlerin yeni programi uygulama konusunda yeterince deneyime sahip olmadigini gösterebilir
This descriptive study was carried out to determine the attitudes of the elementary Science and Technology students from 5 through 8 in the academic year of 2006-2007. The purpose of the study was to find out the attitude levels of students from grades 5 to 8 regarding the science and technology curricula which were in place before and after 2005. This study was administered to 205 students, in which grades 5-6 were taught based on the constructivist science curricula while grades 7- 8 were taught according to the program in effect prior to 2005. The results showed that there is no meaningful difference in general but in particular 5 and 6 graders seemed to like the course more. There is a similar range among groups regarding the negative attitudes. This might be due to the lack of experience on part of teachers regarding the new constructivist curricula
