dc.description.abstractThe human mind is in search of order. At the foundation of this search is the effort to transform the chaotic environment into a cosmos, to put his life in order, and to protect his future. In order to know the unknown and dominate nature, people have resorted to various rituals, experienced these rituals, and passed them down from generation to generation. Rituals are based on mythological elements. Especially in number-based rituals, the number of times the prayer should be recited and the objects and animals used during the ritual can be given as examples of mythological elements. The purpose of rituals based on mythological origins is to expel evil spirits, thus transforming the chaos-causing situations in which human beings exist into the cosmos. The experienced knowledge transmitted in cultural memory and the rituals that emerged around this knowledge were transferred from oral culture from generation to generation and then written down. Manuscripts are the products of the transition from oral culture to written culture. The booklet within the scope of the study provides information about folk beliefs and folk medicine of the period in which it was written. Considering the language features of the booklet, it may have been written in the 15th or early 16th century. The booklet contains rituals and Arabic prayers to regulate human life in the context of folk medicine and folk beliefs. In this study, the rituals around the prayers will be analyzed rather than the meanings of the prayers.
dc.description.abstractInsan zihni, düzen arayisi içerisindedir. Bu arayisin temellerinde kaos ortamini kozmosa dönüstürme, hayatini düzene sokma, gelecegini koruma altina alma çabasi bulunmaktadir. Bilinmeyeni bilme ve dogaya hükmetme amaciyla insanlar, çesitli ritüellere basvurmus ve bu ritüelleri deneyimleyerek nesilden nesile aktarmistir. Ritüellerin temelinde mitolojik unsurlar bulunmaktadir. Özellikle sayi temelli ritüellerde duanin kaç kere okunmasi gerektigi, ritüel esnasinda kullanilan nesneler ve hayvanlar, mitolojik unsurlara örnek gösterilebilir. Mitolojik kökenlere dayanan ritüellerin amaci kötü ruhlari kovmak böylece insanin içerisinde bulundugu talihsizlik, hastalik gibi kaosa neden olan durumlari kozmosa dönüstürmektir. Kültürel bellek içerisinde aktarilan deneyimlenmis bilgi ve bu bilgi etrafinda ortaya çikan ritüeller, sözlü kültürden nesilden nesile aktarildiktan sonra yaziya geçirilmistir. Yazma eserler sözlü kültürden yazili kültüre geçisinin ürünleridir. Çalisma kapsaminda incelenecek olan risale, yazildigi dönemin halk inançlari ve halk hekimligi hakkinda bilgiler vermektedir. Risalenin dil özellikleri dikkate alindiginda, 15-16. yüzyil baslarinda kaleme alindigi söylenebilir. Risalenin içerisinde halk hekimligi ve halk inançlari baglaminda insan hayatini düzenleyecek ritüeller, Arapça dualar ve hadisler yer almaktadir. Çalismada, dualarin anlamlarindan ziyade, dualar etrafinda meydana gelen ritüeller incelenmistir.
