Özet
Çin’de Kültür Devrimi sonrasinda çagdas sanat ekonomik, politik ve kültürel degisimlerle birlikte sekillenmistir. Özellikle 1980’li yillarda Çin’in Bati’yla olan etkilesimi, gelenegin karsisinda modern ve yeni olana kapilarin açilmasini, kisa sürede dinamik bir sanat ortami olusmasini saglamis ve bu da 1989 yilindaki ‘China/Avant-Garde’ sergisi ile sonuçlanmistir. Makalede Mao ve sonrasi dönemde yasanan toplumsal ve politik degisimlerin beraberinde açilan ‘China/Avant-Garde’ sergisi, gelenek karsisindaki tutumlarini yansitma sekilleriyle ön plana çikan sanatçi çalismalariyla birlikte ele alinmis ve pek çok açidan da ilkleri yasattigi vurgulanmistir.
After the Cultural Revolution in China, contemporary art has been shaped by economic, political and cultural changes. Especially in the 1980s, China’s interaction with the West has made it possible to create a dynamic art scene in a short period of time, opening doors to modern and new things in the face of tradition and this resulted in the ‘China / Avant-Garde’ exhibition in 1989. In the article, the “China/Avant-Garde” exhibition, which opened together with the social and political changes experienced in Mao and his post period, was handled together with the artist’s works, which stand out with their way of reflecting their attitudes against tradition and it is emphasized that it is the first in many ways.
