Özet
Disiplinler arasi bir alana göndermeyapan ve nihai tanimi olmayan sehrin, degisik açilardan üzerinde durulmustur.Onu bir prototip olarak okuyan ilk isim Max Weber’dir. Sehir ayrica din,diyalektik, iktisat, cografya ve dogal süreç merkezli olarak da ele alinmistir.Ancak zihniyet-sehir iliskisi baglaminda fazla çalisma yapildigi söylenemez. Bu makale sehre zihniyet degisimiaçisindan yaklasmaktadir ve kapsam açisindan Turgut Cansever’in görüsleriylesinirlidir. Turgut Cansever’in çalisma alani Osmanli sehirleri oldugu içinzihniyet degisiminin sehre etkisi bu çerçevede takip edilmeyeçalisilacaktir. Osmanli sehirciligininasamalari çalismanin sinirliliklarini astigindan dolayi konu, sehir prototipibaglaminda irdelenecektir. Sonuç bölümü Osmanli sehirlerinden günümüzsehirlerine kadar gelen serüvenin genel görüntüsünü sunmaktadir.
The city, whichrefers to an interdisciplinary area and has no conclusive definition, had been under focus ofvarious point of views. Max Weber was the first to treat it as a prototype. Thecity is also centered around religion, dialectics, economics, geography andnatural process. However, it can not be said that much work has been done inthe context of mentality-city relation. This article approaches city in conceptof mentality change and is limited to Turgut Cansever's point of view. Thestudy area of ??Turgut Cansever is the Ottoman cities. Because of the stages ofOttoman urbanism are beyond the limitations, the subject will be examined inthe context of the prototype. Theconclusion section presents the general view of the adventure from the Ottomancities up to the present day cities.
