dc.description.abstractBu tez çalışması altı temel kısımdan oluşmaktadır. İlk bölüm giriş kısmıdır. İkinci bölümde ise çalışma için önemli olan temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, reel ve dual kuaterniyonlar tanıtıldı. Dördüncü bölümde, vida hareketini oluşturan operatörler tanımlandı. Beşinci bölümde ise bölünmüş kuaterniyonlar ve dual bölünmüş kuaterniyonlar anlatıldı. Son bölümde ise reel uzayda ve Minkowski 3-uzayında vida hareketleri incelendi.
dc.description.abstractThis study has six main chapter. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction. Basic definitions and teorems significant to the study are given in the second chapter. In the third chapter, real and dual quaternions are introduced. The operators that create screw motion are defined in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, split quaternions and dual split quaternions are explained. In the last chapter, screw motions in real space and Minkowski 3-space are studied.
