dc.description.abstractThe aim of the research study is to examine the primary school mathematics curriculum according to 21st century skills. The study was designed as document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, and the descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. In the study, the outcomes in the primary school Mathematics curriculum updated in 2018 were examined according to the 21st century skills, which skills were included in the curriculum, the acquisitions related to the skills and the learning areas were analyzed. As a result of the study, it was seen that there were no acquisitions related to knowledge, media and technology skills, where learning and innovation skills were the most, followed by life and career skills. When the outcomes were examined according to the grade levels, it was concluded that the learning and innovation skills were the most attained at all grade levels. In addition, the most outcomes related to 21st century skills are found in the “Measurement” learning area, followed by “Numbers and Operations”, “Geometry” and “Data Processing” learning areas, respectively. According to the findings, it can be said that an equal distribution of 21st century skills should be taken in the Mathematics curriculum in the process of updating the curriculum.
dc.description.abstractÇalismanin amaci ilkokul Matematik dersi ögretim programini 21. yüzyil becerilerine göre incelemektir. Çalisma nitel arastirma yöntemi doküman incelemesi desenine uygun olarak tasarlanmis, verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanilmistir. Çalismada, 2018 yilinda güncellenen ilkokul Matematik dersi ögretim programindaki kazanimlar 21. yüzyil becerilerine göre incelenmis, programda hangi becerilere yer verildigi, beceriler ile iliskili kazanimalar ve ögrenme alanlarinin analizleri yapilmistir. Çalismanin sonucunda en fazla ögrenme ve yenilikçi becerilere sonra yasam ve kariyer becerilerine yer verildigi; bilgi, medya ve teknoloji becerileri ile ilgili kazanimin bulunmadigi görülmüstür. Kazanimlar sinif düzeylerine göre incelendiginde bütün sinif düzeylerinde en fazla ögrenme ve yenilikçilik becerilerine iliskin kazanimlarin bulundugu sonucuna ulasilmistir. Ayrica, 21. yüzyil becerileri ile iliskili en fazla kazanimin “Ölçme” ögrenme alaninda, daha sonra sirasiyla “Sayilar ve Islemler”, “Geometri” ve “Veri Isleme” ögrenme alanlarinda bulunmaktadir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre ögretim programlarinin güncellenmesi sürecinde Matematik dersi ögretim programinda 21. yüzyil becerilerinin tamamina esit bir dagilimin alinmasi gerektigi söylenebilir.
