Overcoming Language Barriers With Artificial Intelligence

The impact of the unpredictable spread of artificial intelligence in education is also seen in language learning or language use.The use of AI to overcome or eliminate problems /challenges encountered in language learnings is getting more interest.This idea is also becoming more and more common.AI applications that focus on the problems faced in language learning can provide personalized learning environments.Through personalized learning models learning can be effective.In this study the problems encountered in terms of language learning will be mentioned.Then, the methods, techniques and applications based on AI which can be used to solve these problems will be mentioned.Besides theoretical approaches used to explain AI usage in language learning are presented.Popular AI based apps focusing on different language learning skills are described.Also limitations and suggestions for future work presented. © 2026 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.All rights reserved.
