In non-verbal communication, musafaha is known as the act of shaking hands, while muanaka is defined as the act of embracing and hugging someone's neck between individuals. This study, which examines musafaha and muanaka from the perspective of the sociology of fiqh, has been addressed under various headings. Firstly, concepts related to musafaha and muanaka have been explained, and the situations and times in which these concepts are applied have been expressed. The general framework of the subject was outlined, particularly by emphasizing concepts such as greeting, maintaining family ties, and traveling, to which it is related. Secondly, from a fiqh perspective, the concepts of musafaha and muanaka have been expressed within the boundaries of privacy. Finally, the study attempted to evaluate the reflections of musafaha and muanaka on social life, as well as their benefits and harms to individuals. Explanations were made by touching on the importance of handshake and hugging in our culture, which have an important place in social life. In this study, the aim is to enhance understandability by examining the concepts of musafaha and muanaka from a broad perspective and dividing them into sections.
