dc.description.abstractSarıkum Lagün'ünde (Sinop) bulunan ve endemik bir tür olan dişlisazancık, Aphanius danfordii (Boulenger, 1890) balığının parazit faunası, bir yıl süreyle (Mayıs 2003 - Nisan 2004) aylık olarak incelendi. Araştırmada 423 adet dişlisazancık balığı dış ve iç parazitleri bakımından araştırıldı. Araştırmada 3 protozoa türü; Trichodina domerguei Wallengren, 1897, yeni kayıt olarak verilen T. modesta Lom, 1970 ve Tripartiella macrosoma Basson ve Van As, 1980 ve 9 metazoa türü; Gyrodactylus sp., Salsuginus sp., Ascocotyle sp., Posthodiplostomum sp., Hysterothylacium aduncum Rudolphi, 1802, Capillaria sp., Spiroxys contortus Rudolphi, 1819, Neoechinorhynchus rutili Müller, 1780 ve Ergasilus sieboldi Nordmann, 1932 olmak üzere toplam 12 parazit türü belirlendi. Belirlenen parazitler ve enfeksiyon oranları resimsel ve tablosal olarak sunuldu
dc.description.abstractParasitic fauna of the toothcarp Aphanius danfordii (Boulenger, 1890), an endemic fish from Sarıkum Lagoon Lake in Sinop were investigated monthly thoughout a one year period (From May 2003 – April 2004). A total of 423 toothcarps were investigated for ecto- and endoparasites. In this investigation, a total of 12 different parasite species were identified. They are three species of protozoan, Trichodina domerguei Wallengren, 1897 and Trichodina modesta Lom, 1970, Tripartiella macrosoma Basson and Van As, 1987 which are given as new record for Turkey parasite fauna and 9 species of metazoan parasites, Gyrodactylus sp., Salsuginus sp., Ascocotyle sp., Posthodiplostomum sp. Hysterothylacium aduncum Rudolphi, 1802, Capillaria sp., Spiroxys contortus Rudolphi, 1819, Neoechinorhynchus rutili Müller, 1780 and Ergasilus sieboldi Nordman, 1932. Infestation prevalence (%), mean intensity levels and photomicrographs of identified parasites are presented in tables and figures, respectively.
