Özet
Osmanli Devri resim sanatinda edebi ve ilmi yazma eserler, surnameler, harita resimleri gibi eserlerin disindaki diger bir önemli tür kiyafet albümleridir. Bir albüm seklinde hazirlandigi gibi tek sayfa levhalar halinde de karsimiza çikan kiyafet albümlerinin ortaya çikmasinda sultan portrelerinin yer aldigi silsilenamelerin katkisi büyüktür. Saray ressamlarinin padisaha sunmak için ya da diger ülke krallarina hediye etmek için hazirlanan bu albümlerin 17. yüzyilda yayginlastigi görülmektedir. Osmanli Devleti’nin sosyal ve ekonomik olarak gücünün dorugunda olmasi ve çok sayida yabanci ve diplomatin ülkeye gelmesi ile albümlerin sayisinda bir artis olmustur. Saray nakkashanesinde hazirlanan albümlerin yani sira saray disinda “çarsi ressamlari” adi ile anilan, çogu isimsiz sanatçilar tarafindan üretilen kiyafet albümleri de bu sekilde ortaya çikmistir. Çarsida dükkâni olan esnaf sanatçilardan olusan bu grup, müsterilerden gelen talepler ile albümler hazirlamistir. Çogunlugu yabancilar olan bu müsteriler, Osmanli’dan bir ani olarak kisilerin, gelenek ve göreneklerin oldugu albümleri ismarlayip, resme kendi dillerinde isimler ekleyerek ülkelerine tasimislardir. Çogu zaman da elçi ve gezginlerin yanlarinda gelen ressamlarin hazirladigi albümler ülkelerinde bir kitap haline getirilmistir. Osmanli toplumunu tanitan ve devlet büyüklerinin, esnafin, siradan insanlarin tasvirlerinin yer aldigi bu albümler 20. yüzyila kadar sürecek bir gelenegin öncüleri olmustur. Günümüzde yurtiçi ve yurtdisi birçok müze ve kütüphanede muhafaza edilen bu albümlerde, ülkenin çok uluslu yapisi geregi farkli milletlerden kisiler de tasvir edilmistir. Çalismada farkli müze ve kütüphanelerde yer alan yazma eserlerdeki ve basili yabanci albümlerdeki Rum tasvirlerine yer verilecektir.
In addition to literary and scientific manuscripts, surnames and map paintings, clothing albums have an important place in the painting art of the Ottoman period. Silsilenames, which include portraits of sultans, have a great contribution to the emergence of clothing albums, which are prepared in the form of an album as well as in single-page sheets. It is seen that these albums, which were prepared by the palace painters to present to the sultan or as a gift to the kings of other countries, became widespread in the 17th century. There has been an increase in the number of albums as the Ottoman Empire was at the height of its social and economic power and many foreigners and diplomats came to the country. In addition to the albums prepared in the palace mural, the clothing albums produced by mostly anonymous artists, known as "bazaar painters" outside the palace, emerged in this way. This group, consisting of artisan artists, who have a shop in the bazaar, prepared albums with the demands of the customers. These customers, mostly foreigners, ordered albums with people, traditions and customs as a memory from the Ottoman Empire, and added names to the paintings in their own language and brought them to their countries. Most of the time, the albums prepared by the painters who accompanied the ambassadors and travelers were turned into a book in their countries. These albums, which introduce the Ottoman society and include the descriptions of statesmen, tradesmen and ordinary people, have been the pioneers of a tradition that will last until the 20th century. In these albums, which are kept in many museums and libraries at home and abroad, people from different nationalities are also depicted due to the multinational nature of the country. In the study, Rum depictions in manuscripts and printed foreign albums in different museums and libraries will be included.
