Abstract
Arastirma, Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi çello dersi ögretim programina dayali kullanilan kitaplarin Türk müzigi kazanimlari açisindan degerlendirilmesi amaci ile yapilmistir. Bu amaç dogrultusunda, Millî Egitim Bakanligi (MEB) Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Baskanligi’nin kabul ettigi Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri (GSL) çello ögretim kitaplari incelenmis; GSL çello ögretmenleri ile 11’inci ve 12’nci sinif çello ögrencilerinin görüsleri alinmistir. Arastirma betimsel nitelikte olup veriler arastirmaci tarafindan gelistirilen yari yapilandirilmis görüsme formu ile elde edilmistir. Gelistirilen görüsme formu geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik açisindan degerlendirilmek üzere pilot olarak belirlenen iki farkli Güzel Sanatlar Lisesinde ögretmen ve ögrencilere uygulanmis, elde edilen sonuçlar dogrultusunda görüsme formuna son sekli verilmistir. Arastirma bulgulari dogrultusunda, GSL’de kullanilan çello ögretim kitaplarinda yer alan Türk müzigi makam dizilerinin islenis sirasinin uygun oldugu, ögrencilerin en çok komali sesleri icra etmekte ve eserleri göçürme/transpoze yaparak çalmakta zorlandiklari, Türk müzigine iliskin etüt ve eser sayisinin artirilmasi gerektigi sonuçlarina ulasilmistir. GSL çello ögretim kitaplarinin güncellenmesi sirasinda, çello ögretmen ve ögrencilerinin görüslerinin dikkate alinmasi önerilmistir.
This study aims to assess the cello instructionbooks used in Fine Arts High Schools in terms of their Turkish music learningoutcomes. In line with this objective, it analyses the cello instruction booksapproved by the Board of Education of Ministry of National Education and takesthe opinions of cello instructors and 11th and 12th-grade cello students inFine Arts High Schools. The study, which is descriptive in nature, obtains itsdata through the semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher.The developed interview form conducted among teachers and students of twodifferent Fine Arts High School selected as pilot schools to assess itsvalidity and reliability provides results for surveys to be finalized. Researchfindings suggest that while the teaching order of maqam scales in celloinstruction books used in Fine Arts High Schools is appropriate, the majordifficulties that students experience are the performance of microtones andtransposition of pieces. The study proposes that the number of etude and piecesregarding Turkish music should be increased and opinions of both cello teachers and studentsshould be considered during the revision of cello instruction books of FineArts High Schools.
