This study aims to examine the impact of compassion fatigue on the psychological resilience of social workers who provided psychosocial support in the disaster area following earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras and Hatay in February 2023. A survey model was used in the study. The average age of the participants was x¯=31.88±8.29. Of the social workers, 141 (56.6%) were female and 108 (43.4%) were male. An online survey technique was used in the research. Data was collected using the Compassion Fatigue Short Scale and the Brief Resilience Scale. Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used for data analysis. The findings indicate that social workers experienced low levels of secondary trauma, medium levels of compassion fatigue, job burnout, and psychological resilience. As a result, a negative relationship was found between the psychological resilience of social workers and their levels of compassion fatigue, job burnout and secondary trauma. It was also found that job burnout and secondary trauma are significant predictors of psychological resilience.
