Özet
This study, which was carried out to reveal the Sivas example of the effect of religious orientations on gender discrimination, is based on field research. 600 households from the center and four districts of Sivas province participated in the field study. The measurement tools consist of the Religious Orientation Scale, Religious Fundamentalism Scale, and Gender Roles Attitude Scale. The research hypotheses were tested by establishing Structural Equation Modeling, which makes it possible to address the complex research problem systematically and comprehensively in a single process, and two main results were reached: According to the first result, intrinsic religious orientation positively and significantly predicts religious fundamentalism. According to the second result, religious fundamentalism predicts egalitarian attitudes about gender roles negatively and significantly.
