Öğe Corporate Responsibility and Crisis Response in Wellness Tourism: a Bibliometric Approach(Springer, 2026) Abbas, Alhamzah F.; Bayram, Gül Erkol; Raza, Ali; Moroojo, Abdul Wajid; Radulescu, MagdalenaWellness tourism has rapid growth with an integral role in corporate responsibility (CR) and crisis response. Wellness tourism, identified by the Global Wellness Institute as one of the fastest-growing market segments, experienced significant disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these setbacks, wellness tourism has demonstrated resilience and is projected to expand as travelers increasingly prioritize health and well-being. Through a bibliometric analysis, this study examines existing research on wellness tourism, CR, and crisis management, revealing thematic clusters and publication trends from 2001 to 2023. Through an analysis of 347 publications, the analysis identifies key journals, influential countries, and research clusters, including themes of destination management, traveler motivations, the impact of COVID-19, and the intersection of medical and wellness tourism. The findings offer insights into various aspects of wellness tourism, CR in tourism, and crises in tourist management. Findings highlight the importance of CR in crisis recovery, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development. This study emphasizes the need for ethical practices, effective communication, and proactive crisis management within wellness tourism to ensure resilience against future disruptions. Contributing to the scholarly discourse, this study identifies knowledge gaps and proposes future directions, advocating for interdisciplinary collaboration and deeper exploration into how wellness tourism can navigate crises while fostering sustainable growth and enhancing tourist well-being. These insights provide a foundation for industry stakeholders to develop strategies that align with both traveler expectations and global sustainability goals. © The Author(s) 2026.Öğe Effect of green finance and institutional quality on economic growth: an evidence from novel MMQR approach(Springer Nature, 2025) Ali, Mumtaz; Igunnu, Peter Oluwasegun; Seraj, Mehdi; Raza, AliGreen finance plays a vital role in mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change and contributes to long-term economic resilience by integrating economic growth objectives with environmental protection. Therefore, this study investigates the effects of green finance, rule of law, carbon emissions, and government effectiveness on the economic growth of 169 countries across the seven continents for the time period spanning from 2002 to 2023. This study employs the Method of Moment Quantile Regression (MMQR) to assess the effects across the different quantiles. The findings show that green finance has a negative effect on the economic growth. However, the rule of law, carbon emissions, and government effectiveness has positively contributed to economic growth. Moreover, the effects of green finance, rule of law, carbon emissions, and government effectiveness vary across the continents. The findings of this research provide valuable insights to support the continents in development and restricting of their economic and policy initiatives. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.Öğe How does the green entrepreneurship process of students undergoing tourism education proceed? These factors can cause short-term and long-term changes in the housing market in Spain.Design/methodology/approach The study used cointegrating regression, fully modified ordinary least squares and dynamic ordinary least squares methodologies. The models are trained using quarterly time series data for these parameters from 2010 to 2022. A comprehensive examination is conducted to explore the relationship between macroeconomic issues and fluctuations in the HPI.Findings The results indicate statistically significant short-run effects (p < 0.05) of economic growth, inflation, Spanish stock indices, foreign trade and the interest rate on HPI. The inflation variables, Spain's stock indices, interest rate and monetary rate, have statistically significant long-run effects (p < 0.05) on HPI. The exchange rate, unemployment and money supply have no substantial impact on HPI in Spain.Originality/value The study's findings significantly contribute to increased information concerning the level of investing activity in the Spanish housing sector. After conducting an in-depth study of both the long-run and short-run connections with HPI, the study proved to be highly effective in formulating appropriate policies.Öğe The effect of transformational leadership on restaurant employees on trust, altruistic intention and organizational commitment: the moderation effect of surface acting(Emerald Group Publishing Ltd, 2024) Kement, Uzeyir; Zeybek, Bihter; Soylu, Sinem; Bayram, Gul Erkol; Raza, AliPurposeThis study aims to investigate the impact of the transformational leadership style on the behaviour of restaurant employees. This study assesses the impact of corruption on international tourism demand. It employs two-dimensional analyses using the gravity model and a pooled ordinary least square estimator to provide a unique recognition of international tourism demand. The study utilized a conditional quantile regression technique to analyze a dataset of 200 destination countries from 1995 to 2022. The empirical results demonstrate a mixed effect of corruption on international tourism demand. The analysis reveals a non-linear relationship between corruption and international tourism demand, with the inverted-U relationship being statistically significant only at the 50th–75th quantiles and not holding at the upper and lower quantiles. The research confirms that income has a positive impact on tourism across quantiles, but the impact is disproportionate. The sub-period of 2006–2022 experienced a significant decline in gross domestic product (GDP) due to the global financial crisis and its aftershocks, which severely impacted the attractiveness of destination countries for tourists. These valuable insights can inform national tourism policies and businesses. © by the author, licensee University of Lodz – Lodz University Press, Lodz, Poland.Öğe Towards a regenerative future an empirical study of service quality enhancement in rajasthan tourism(IGI Global, 2024) Singh, Kuldeep; Bayram, Gul Erkol; Gantait, Arnab; Puri, Goldi; Raza, AliThis study employs an exploratory design with a quantitative approach to analyze the impact of service quality on tourist satisfaction and revisit intention in Rajasthan. Data was collected from 600 valid responses from domestic and international tourists across ten cities in Rajasthan using a pre-tested questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis with Varimax rotation identified eight dimensions influencing service quality in Rajasthan's tourism industry: accommodation, people/staff, transportation, travel environment, amenities, cuisine, attraction, and cleanliness. Regression analysis revealed significant impacts of all variables on tourist satisfaction and revisit intention (p<0.05), except for accommodation, people/ staff, transportation, and cleanliness, which were not significant on revisit intention (p>0.05). The findings contribute to understanding the relationship between service quality, satisfaction, and revisit intention, offering insights for future research and aiding policymakers and stakeholders in improving service quality at tourist destinations in Rajasthan. © 2024 by IGI Global.
