    A study into the teaching of morality subjects in the early period high school philosophy course books within the context of political effect

    Morality comprises the most basic working field of philosophy together with existence, knowledge and aesthetics issues. Depending on the structural conditions of the time and the community it is examined, some of these topics came to the forefront and some others lost their effects. After the proclamation of the Republic, similar cases were observed in the Philosophy Course Books written to be taught at high schools. In these books, morality, metaphysics and aesthetics were adopted as the basic subjects. However, the approach to the topics were rather given in way that they were regarded as a natural science. It is likely to say that the positivism had an impact, which had a dominant perspective at that time, on this attitude. Another impact was the secular and nationalistic point of view that represented the view of newly founded Republic. In this study, how the morality subjects were taught in the High School Philosophy Course Books written just after the proclamation of the Republic, and how the political structure of the time had an impact on this case were examined.

    On birinci yüzyilda yasamis bir düsünür olan Gazali, Islam skolastisizminin en güç temsilcilerindendir.O, dini konulardaki tartismalarda geleneksel Islam’i savunmus ve bu konudaçok basarili olmustur. Gazali’nin bu konulari tartismadaki basarisi onu Islam dünyasi içindeçok ünlü bir konuma tasimistir. Hatta bu basarilari sebebiyle Islam cografyasinda kendisineHuccetü’l – Islam (Dinin Delili) ve Ziyned – Din (Dinin Süsü) unvanlari verilmistir. Gazalibirçok özellige sahip bir düsünürdür. O, her seyden önce çok güçlü bir din âlimidir. Felsefedensiire çok farkli alanlarda derinlemesine bilgi sahibi olan bir entelektüeldir. Dönemininen yüksek akademik unvanina ulasmis bir müderristir. Ayni zamanda o, âlimlerin üzerindeanlasamadigi konularda verdigi güçlü fetvalarla bilinen bir Islam Hukukçusu ve bireysel anlamdabir mutasavviftir. Gazali bu özellikleri sebebiyle Islam ile ilintili hemen her konuyatemas etmis ve bu konularda görüs bildirmistir. Bunlardan biri de evlilik konusudur. Gazali,evliligi Islami ve tasavvufi bir yorumla ele almis ve evlilik ile ilgili her konuyu ayrintili olarakaçiklamistir. Bu çalismada, Gazali’nin evlilik adaylarina, es seçerken nelere dikkat etmelerigerektigi konusunda verdigi tavsiyeler ele alinmistir. Bunu yaparken içerik analiz ve veri yorumlamateknikleri kullanilmis, metinler elestirel bir tarzda incelenmistir.
