    Demiryolu Tekeri Üretiminde Is Sagligi ve Güvenligi

    Dövme, haddeleme ve bombeleme, demiryolu tekerleklerini üretmek için kullanilan özel sicak sekillendirme prosedürüdür. Sürekli gelisen teknoloji nedeniyle, demiryolu vagonlari ve lokomotifleri güvenlik ve hiz gereksinimlerini karsilamak için tekerlekler kullanan çesitli tasarimlara sahiptir. Sonuç olarak, bir demiryolu tekerlegi üreticisinin rekabetçi bir pazarda geçerliligini sürdürebilmesi için çok çesitli tasarimlara sahip demiryolu tekerlekleri üretme yetenegine sahip olmasi gerekir. Yeni bir tekerlek üretmek için, üreticinin tekerlegin yeni tasarimina uygun yeni kaliplar olusturmasi gerekir. Tasarim asamasinda, demiryolu tekerlegi sekillendirmenin olasi sonuçlarini tahmin etmek için bir simülasyon modeli kullanilmalidir. Demiryolu tekerlekleri sekillendirmenin en karmasik asamasi, tekerlek haddeleme sürecidir. Demiryolu tekerlegi haddelemesi, dövme demiryolu tekerleginin belirli bir sekil vermek için ayni anda bes silindir tarafindan islenmesidir.Bu çalismada, demiryolu tekerleklerinin üretim süreci ayrintili olarak incelenecek ve yeni tasarimlarin nasil olusturulacagina dair yöntemler ele alinacaktir. Ayrica, simülasyon modelleri kullanarak tekerlek sekillendirme süreçlerinin tahmin edilmesi ve haddeleme sürecinin optimizasyonu üzerinde durulacaktir. Tez, derleme formatinda sunulmus olup, süreçlerin degerlendirilmesi için ramak kala olay analizi ve balik kilçigi diyagrami kullanilacaktir.

    Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis in Rebar Rolling Plant

    Employees are constantly in action for the production of goods and services in workplaces. These workplace activities affect the physical and mental health of the employees and cause occupational accidents. Elimination of these negativities is possible with the implementation of occupational health and safety services. Safety organisation is also very important in steel rolling mills so that employees are not exposed to danger. As in any other industry, steel rolling mill workers work with dangerous machinery that causes injury, disability and death. Safe working is an integral part of risk management. Risk management is the process of taking and implementing action to reduce the possibility of an assessed risk occurring. Therefore, known or tolerable risks are managed. In safe workplaces, productivity is high, work accidents and occupational diseases are low. Safe workplaces are only possible with risk management. In this study, the rolling mill area of a workplace producing rebar with the Fine-Kinney Method was analysed and the necessary precautions were listed. These measures are generally listed as; implementation of control protocols for the routine operation of the process, providing necessary occupational health and safety training for the personnel, providing the necessary information, repeating the training at regular intervals, following up the protective clothing and equipment to be used in the process, maintenance/repair of the units and the tools used. As a result of these measures, the degree of risk will be reduced to acceptable levels.

    Occupational Health and Safety in Boron Mine

    Turkey has a major deficiency in terms of employee health and safety. However, it should be taken into consideration that work accidents in the mining sector are fatal and affect employees. Although boron mineral has great contributions to the country, it is a mineral with a wide range of uses. Both the extraction and processing of boron mineral can cause great dangers to employee health. The nature of the person or the work environment they are in causes them to work in risky conditions.With the risk analyses conducted on occupational health and safety, it has been stated what the employees may be affected by in their work environment, and personal behavior and environmental factors have been taken into consideration. It has been predicted that personal protective equipment used in the workplace has a great effect on the employee and that the protective effect is high in places where there are no collective protection measures.In addition, occupational safety trainings also positively affect the health and safety of employees and create a safe environment.Similarly, the careless and dangerous behaviors of the employee put the employee in a difficult position and affect their safety. The problems in their social life and fatigue due to heavy working conditions affect the behavior and attitudes of employees. This situation brings about dangerous situations and increases the risk of accidents.The accidents experienced; It can result in loss of labor, loss of limbs, occupational diseases and even death. In this case, risks in occupational health and safety should be determined and the training of employees should be completed completely. Near-miss incidents should be reported and precautions should be taken in advance of possible accidents.
