Öğe An Analysis on Music Maps with Their Symbolic and Graphic Representations(Turkish Education Assoc, 2021) Sen, EbruThe idea of making music meaningful, which is an abstract concept, leads to a need for developing various visual materials in line with today's contemporary music education approaches. One of the visual materials that can be used in line with this need is the maps that involve use of symbolic and graphical elements (lines, pictures, shapes, etc.). These materials, which can be used efficiently to perceive, analyze, and interpret music as a whole, making musical structures and concepts meaningful, can be named as music maps in a general expression. In this research, 12 music map examples in literature were investigated through content analysis method, which were created in line with different purposes and methods and which are different from each other in terms of their styles. It was tried to reveal the purposes, methods, and application fields of music maps according to the findings achieved through the visual contents that were found in the 12 music maps in total, investigated under the themes of Structural Content and Musical Content. Results of the research showed that music maps are creative and original materials that would contribute to those who implement them, for various purposes in their practices at different levels of the general, amateur, and professional music education processes. Accordingly, it is thought that the visual music map examples and the analyses on these maps in this study will be a guide for trainers, students, and performers who want to use music mapping methods, as well as for parents.Öğe Developing the music listening skills test (MLST) for pre-school and elementary school teacher candidates(Sage Publications Ltd, 2024) Sen, EbruIn this study, it was aimed to develop a music listening skill test for primary school teacher candidates to determine their levels of perception of basic musical structures through listening. A total of 260 teacher candidates studying in the department of primary education (early childhood and elementary education) of a public university in T & uuml;rkiye formed the study group of the research. KR-20 internal consistency coefficient of the Music Listening Skills Test (MLST) was determined as 0.731. The mean of the item difficulty index of the test is 0.60, and the mean of the item distinctiveness index is 0.38. The MLST consists of a total of 27 questions with 53 listening contents converted into audio files in MP3 format to be played by the practitioner. The MLST can be used as a preliminary assessment tool in studies on the development of musical competencies. In addition, the musical structures in the test content can be handled in the music education processes of teacher candidates. Assessing music listening skills can also make it easier to follow the steps to be followed in the education of teacher candidates. In this way, educational contents can be developed and music education programs can be updated.Öğe MÜZIK EGITIMI ANABILIM DALLARINDA ORKESTRA/ODA MÜZIGI DERSI KAPSAMINDA HAZIRLANAN KONSER REPERTUVARLARININ INCELENMESI(Erzurum Kültür Egitim Vakfi, 2019) Sen, Çagri; Sen, Ebru; Kurtaslan, Zafer; Aydin, BaharÜlkemizde mesleki müzik egitiminin verildigi kurumlarda düzey ve amaç olarak farkli içeriklerle uygulanan Orkestra/Oda Müzigi derslerindeki temel hedef; ulusal ve uluslararasi çoksesli müzik repertuvarina ait eserlerin birlikte seslendirme kurallari ve disiplini çerçevesinde icra edilerek taninmasi, tanitilmasi ve yine birlikte seslendirme yoluyla ögrencilerde ortak müzik yapma bilincinin olusturularak müzikal duyusun gelistirilmesidir. Bu dersin amaçlari dogrultusunda, dersi yürüten egitimciler tarafindan çesitli degiskenler göz önünde bulundurularak eser seçimleri yapilmakta ve hazirlanan programlar, verilen egitimin bir ürünü olarak çesitli müzik etkinleri kapsaminda sergilenmektedir. Bu çalismada, mesleki müzik egitimi veren kurumlar arasinda yer alan üniversitelerin müzik ögretmenligi programlarinda Orkestra/Oda Müzigi dersi kapsaminda düzenlenen konserlerde eser seçimine yönelik egilimlerin tespit edilmesi amaciyla, müzik egitimi anabilim dallarinin 2013-2019 yillari arasinda ulasilabilen konser programlari incelenmistir. Bu dogrultuda, konser vermek amaciyla olusturulan repertuvarlarda yer alan eserler; türleri, bestecileri, ait olduklari dönemler vb. özellikleri bakimindan ayrintili olarak incelenmistir. Arastirma, durum tespitine yönelik betimsel bir çalisma olup nitel bir arastirmadir.Öğe Türkiye’de Balkan Türkleri ve Mübadele Derneklerinde Yürütülen Kültürel ve Egitsel Müzik Faaliyetleri(Mustafa Süleyman ÖZCAN, 2021) Sen, Çagri; Sen, EbruGünümüzde Türkiye topraklarinda yasayan Balkan kökenli vatandaslar tüm nüfusun içinde önemli bir bölümü olusturmaktadir. Muhtelif göç süreçlerinde Balkanlar’dan Anadolu’ya göç eden soydaslar, beraberlerinde getirdikleri kültür vasitasiyla toplum içinde yeni kültürel iliskilerin olusmasini saglamislar ve belirli bölgelerde kümelenerek olusturduklari derneklerin çatisi altinda kültürlerini yasatmaya çalismislardir. Balkan göçmenlerinin, sözü edilen dernekler bünyesinde çesitli kültürel ve sanatsal faaliyetler yürüttükleri bilinmektedir. Söz konusu derneklerin yürüttükleri kültürel ve sanatsal faaliyetleri içerisinde müziksel etkinliklerin de önemli ölçüde yer aldigi gözlenmektedir. Bu arastirmada, Türkiye’deki Balkan Türkleri ve mübadele derneklerinin kültürel ve egitsel müzik faaliyetleri incelenerek ilgili derneklerin, içinde bulunduklari toplumun kültür ve sanat yasantisina katkilarinin ortaya konulmasi amaçlanmistir. Bu dogrultuda, müzik faaliyetlerinin türleri, kapsamlari, içerikleri ve niteliklerini belirlemek üzere bir tarama çalismasi gerçeklestirilmistir. Türkiye’deki 34 farkli sehirden, Balkan göçmenlerinin olusturdugu toplam 185 dernekten elde edilen anket verileri dogrultusunda var olan durum nicel ve nitel olarak betimlenmistir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, derneklerin en sik gerçeklestirdikleri kültürel ve sanatsal etkinliklerin basinda müzik etkinlikleri gelirken bunu halk danslari etkinliklerinin izledigi görülmüstür. Bununla birlikte derneklerin büyük çogunlugunun konser etkinlikleri ve müzik egitimi çalismalari gibi faaliyetler yürüttükleri, bu faaliyetlerini belirli araliklarla ve çesitli mekânlarda topluma sergiledikleri tespit edilmistir. Öte yandan derneklerin yaklasik yarisinin, toplumun her kesimine açik ve çesitli yas gruplarina yönelik olmak üzere imkânlari dogrultusunda çesitli müziksel çalismalar ya da kurslar düzenledikleri belirlenmistir. Arastirma sonuçlarina göre, kültürel ve sanatsal faaliyetler yürütme ve gerçeklestirme konusunda çesitli güçlüklerle karsilasmalarina karsin çalisma grubu içerisinde yer alan derneklerin, sözü edilen kültürel ve egitsel müzik faaliyetleri vasitasiyla toplumun sosyal yasantisina önemli ve degerli katkilar sunduklari saptanmistir.
