The study is organized in a semi-experimental pattern, based on the final test implementation of the experiment and control group pre-test. The study included a 16-person experimental group formed by the participation of volunteer primary school students and a 16-person control group with similar demographics to the experimental group. Pre-test was applied to both groups prior to training. After the pre-test, the experimental group underwent a psycho-educational program for preventing television addiction, which was developed based on motivational interview technique for 6 Sessions, 5 of which were Group Practice and 1 of which were monitoring. After the training, the final-test was applied to both groups. In the research, A Personal Data Sheet prepared by the researcher and a television dependency scale developed by Balantekin (2009), where validity and reliability studies were conducted, were used. Analysis of the data showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of pre-test scores. When we looked at the final test scores after the television addiction prevention Psycho-training program developed based on motivational interview technique of 6 Sessions, 5 of which were Group Practice and 1 of which were monitoring, it was found that the experimental group differed positively from the control group. Has been evaluated in the light of literature findings, and decrease in the level of college students addicted to television television addiction/television addiction Motivational Interviewing technique developed based on fall prevention, psycho-education, it is concluded that the programme is effective. It has been suggested that a follow-up measurement could be made to test the effectiveness of the program, and that a placebo group could also be formed in a new study. © 2019, Milli Egitim All Rights Reserved.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessaddictionmotivational interviewprimary school studentpsycho-educational programTelevision addictionImpact Of Motivational Interview Psycho Training Program On Addiction Levels Of Television-Addicted Primary School StudentsTelevİzyon Bağimlisi İlkokul Öğrencİlerİnİn Bağimlilik Düzeylerİne Motİvasyonel Görüşme Psİko Eğİtİm Programinin EtkİsİArticle4816656842-s2.0-85105100507Q4372617
