The study group of the research consists of 106 children in the 4-6 age group attending a pre-school education institution affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Istanbul and their mothers and fathers (106 mothers-106 fathers). The Personal Information Form, Mother-Father Attitude Scales (4-12 Ages), Physical Aggression Child Form (5-6 Ages), Verbal Aggression Child Form (5-6 Ages) and Aggression Sub-Scale of the Child Behaviour Scale were used in the study. Findings of the study revealed that the desired attitudes of mothers and fathers are negatively related to the level of aggression of preschool children based on teacher opinions, and that the desired attitudes of mothers and fathers significantly predict the aggression level based on teacher opinions. Desired mother and father attitudes are not related to children's physical and verbal aggression levels based on peer opinion, and do not significantly predict their aggression levels. Undesired attitudes of mothers and fathers are not related to preschool children's aggression levels based on either teacher or peer opinions, and do not significantly predict their aggression levels. Based on the research findings and limitations, it has been suggested that the effects of different parental variables such as mother-father-child communication, discipline, parental self-efficacy, as well as mother-father attitudes, on aggression can be addressed in measurements of aggression by collecting information from different sources such as observation, along with teacher and peer opinions.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAnne baba tutumlariakran saldirganligiakran zorbaligiokul öncesiOkul Öncesi Dönem Çocuklarinda Akran Saldirganliginin Anne ve Babalarin Tutumlari Dogrultusunda IncelenmesiExamination of Peer Aggression in Preschool Children with Respect to Mothers’ and Fathers' AttitudesArticle7215917310.52974/jena.1568937https://doi.org/10.52974/jena.1568937
