Throughout their history of over four-thousand years, the Turks established numerous states in Asia, Europe, and Africa, and developed an advanced civilization. The Turks, who are the one of the most rooted nations of human history, have guided world politics at many breaks in history and played an active role in the formation of civilizations. The purpose of this study is to determine the status of various elements belonging to Turkish culture and civilization in the busy cafeterias located in the city center of Sinop Province where these cultural elements are reflected and kept alive. In this descriptive study, the technique of observation applied for data collection. In the analysis of the elicited data, descriptive method was used. Firstly, the elements belonging to Turkish culture and civilization were examined in busy cafeterias located in Sinop city center. In this regard, the cafeterias which are most preferred by people in Sinop city center were visited, and the characteristics of these cafeterias such as their names, menus, space designs, accessories used were examined. In doing so, the effects of Turkish culture and civilization on these features of cafeteria were scrutinized. Based on obtained the results, it has been found that while elements belonging to Turkish culture and civilization are given space at certain rates in the busiest places in Sinop province center, elements belonging to foreign cultures are given a larger space.Dünyakültür ve medeniyet tarihine bakildiginda Türk kültür ve medeniyetinin önemlibir mihenk tasi oldugu görülmektedir. Dört bin yili askin bilinen tarihleriboyunca Türkler; Asya’da, Avrupa’da ve Afrika’da sayisiz devlet kurmus,gelismis bir medeniyet meydana getirmistir. Insanlik tarihinin en köklümilletlerinden biri olan Türkler, tarihin birçok kirilma noktasinda dünyasiyasetine yön vermis ve uygarliklarin olusumunda etkin rol oynamistir. Buçalismanin amaci; Türk kültür ve medeniyetine ait çesitli ögelerin Sinop ilmerkezinde yer alan islek mekânlarda ne oranda yansitildigina ve yasatildiginadair bir durum tespiti yapabilmektir. Arastirma, betimsel nitelikte birçalismanin ürünü olmakla birlikte veri toplama esnasinda gözlem yöntemindenfaydalanilmistir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde ise, betimsel analiz yöntemikullanilmistir. Önceliklearastirmada, Sinop il merkezinde yer alan islek kafeteryalarda Türk kültür vemedeniyetine ait unsurlar arastirilmistir. Bu baglamda Sinop il merkezinde yeralan ve insanlarin en çok tercih ettigi kafeteryalar gezilerek bukafeteryalarin isimleri, menüleri, mekân dizaynlari, kullanilan aksesuarlarigibi özellikleri incelenmistir. Böylelikle kafeteryalarin bu özelliklerindeTürk kültür ve medeniyetinin etkisi arastirilmistir.
