Iklim degisikligi sonucu kasirga, sel, hortum, kar, firtina, kuraklik gibi asiri hava olaylarinin sikligi ve yogunlugu artmaktadir. Kuraklik ise yagislarin bir bölgede beklenenden daha az olmasi sonucu ortaya çikan bir afet türüdür. 2015-2018 yillari boyunca Cape Town sehrinde beklenen normal yagis miktarindan az olmasi sonucu siddetli bir kuraklik yasanmistir. Yasanan kuraklikla bas edebilmek için farkli yöntemler uygulanmis ve buna ek olarak kisi basi su tüketimi günlük 25 litre ile sinirlandirilmistir. Kuraklik tüm dünyada sagligi dogrudan ya da dolayli olarak etkilemektedir. Bu derleme, dünyayi tehdit eden kuraklik tehlikesi ile su krizinin saglik üzerine etkisini belirtmek amaciyla yapilmistir.Water scarcity will become more common worldwide in the future due to climate change. These changes affects the environmental conditions necessary to maintain a healthy state negatively and has various impacts on the ecological balance of the world. As a result of climate change, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, storms, snow and drought increase. Due to global warming, severe droughts occur and some areas experience water crises. Water crises have wide effects in the region where they occur and cause economic and social losses. Droughts are a type of natural disaster that occurs as a result of less precipitation than expected in a region. These changes in the climate of the world affect human health directly and indirectly. Who have been at risk of water crisis for many years the city of Cape Town Between 2015 and 2018, experienced severe drought disaster as a result of less precipitation than expected normal amounts. Various methods were applied to manage the drought and water consumption per capita was limited to 25 liters per day.
