Seventy pre-service teachers studying in different fields participated voluntarily in the study. The research data was collected through a semi-structured interview form after ten weeks of LMS installation, management, LMS usage, and digital instructional material development training. The research findings show that pre-service teachers consider the knowledge and skills of teachers regarding LMS important and necessary. The reasons for this necessity are addressed and detailed under the themes of effective learning processes, flexibility in access, content management, assessment and evaluation/feedback, time management and organization, and professional development. © 2023, IGI Global.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessThe essence of learning management systems acceptance: A phenomenological study of pre-service teachers' experiencesBook Part194110.4018/978-1-6684-8861-4.ch0022-s2.0-85174352213N/A
