Icik, Pinar Çam2025-03-232025-03-2320191308-7258https://hdl.handle.net/11486/2048In this study, mammal fauna of Soma Wind Power Plant which is Turkey'slargest operational plant was determined by field and observational studiesconducted in 2014-2016. As a result of the studies, it is revealed that 26mammal species belonging to six orders live in this plant area. The mammalianfauna of Soma WPP area has been evaluated according to IUCN categories. Rhinolophus euryale, Mediterraneanhorseshoe bat and Miniopterusschreibersii, Schreiber's bent-winged bat are included in NT (near threatened) category; Rhinolophus mehelyi, Mehely's horseshoebat and Myotis capaccinii,long-fingered bat are included in VU (Vulnerable) category. The other mammalian species in SomaWPP area are included in LC (least concern) category. Long-term suggestionsto preserve the mammalian biodiversity arepresented by observing the negative effects of the power plant activity. Thereare not any endemic mammalian species in Soma WPP area.Bu çalismada, 2014-2016 yillari arasinda yürütülen arazi ve gözlemçalismalariyla, Türkiye’nin en büyük operasyonel santrali olan Soma (Manisa)Rüzgar Enerji Santrali’nin memeli hayvan faunasi ortaya çikarilmistir.Çalismalar neticesinde sahada, 6 takima ait 26 memeli türünün yasadigi tespitedilmistir. Memeli faunasi IUCN kategorilerine göre degerlendirilmistir. Çalismaalaninda bulunan yarasa türlerinden Rhinolophuseuryale, Akdeniz nalburunlu yarasasi ve Miniopterusschreibersii, uzun kanatli yarasa NT (tehlike kategorisine en yakin); Rhinolophus mehelyi, nalburunlu yarasave Myotis capaccinii, uzun ayakliyarasa VU (hassas)kategorisindedir. Alandaki diger memeli hayvanlar LC (genisyayilisli, düsük riskli) kategorisindedir. Santral faaliyetinin birtakimolumsuz etkileri de gözlemlenerek, sahadaki memeli biyoçesitliligini koruyacakuzun vadeli öneriler sunulmustur.
