About the record of the black-bellied angler, Lophius budegassa Spinola, 1807, from Sinop coast in the Black Sea, Turkey

The specimen weighed 1926.6 g and measured 42.2 cm standard length (SL) and 51.8 cm total length (TL). The specimen sexed as a maturing male with a testicular development stage II.
