Besides having different word and notion world of every region, language's showing difference from region to region present unique materials to linguists. Being in the West group of the Turkish dialects, Kastamonu dialect has also an important place in terms of its cultural and historical features and in providing integration for language and history researches. Subject of this study is about d>c phonetic change, which is seen in many dialects, but intesively determined in Kastamonu dialect. While in Turkish language dialects; the d>c phonetic change seen mostly because of assimilation, being intensive in Kastamonu dialect; is because of /d/'s change tendecny to /c/ in result of the study in terms of association changing of the phonetics that are close and preferred one another.
